I have added the daily boat insurance option: what should I do in the event of a damage during a rental?

Each damage must be reported to Click&Boat within a maximum of 24 hours after the rental via the application or the website only. Only the owner can declare a damage.

You can report a damage through the e-contract available on the application.

If you do not use the application, you will have to declare the damage from our website:

  • From the "Bookings" section, then "Current" (or "History"), click on the booking concerned: at the bottom of the page, under the " Cancellation conditions" section by clicking on the link "Declare a damage".
  • From the conversation page with the tenant, in "Messages", at the bottom of your conversation.

To complete the damage report file, you must provide the rental contract and the damage report signed by the tenant and the owner as well as photos of the damage.

In addition to this claim case managed by Click&Boat, you will have to make a statement of the damage to the complementary yachting insurance taken out via the platform, for compensation. In order to contact them, download your insurance certificate from the "Booking" page.

Depending on the conditions of the contract and the circumstances of the incident, the insurance company may pay for all or part of the repairs, subject to the excess.

The part remaining at your charge, corresponding to the amount of the excess, will then be deducted from the tenant's deposit.
