At the end of the rental period, the boat must be returned on time, cleaned, and with a full tank of fuel (or the same level of fuel as at the beginning of the rental period).
If this is not the case, you can ask the tenant for compensation for the time spent or the costs incurred.
You have 2 options:
- Make an amicable arrangement: the tenant compensates you directly when the boat is returned.
- Write this information on the damage report provided by Click&Boat and sign it with the tenant from your account. The corresponding amount will be deducted from the tenant's deposit upon presentation of an invoice and the signed rental documents within 24 hours of the end of the rental period.
Our advice: remember to mention in your listing the amount of the compensation due per hour or per day in the event of a late return of the boat.
If you are a professional boat owner, you can ask for compensation directly from your tenant according to the conditions indicated in your contract.
