From the moment a booking is validated on the platform, you commit yourself to honor it.
In case of cancellation by the owner, the tenant is automatically refunded the total amount of the reservation and the owner is not paid.
You can only cancel a reservation in case of force majeure:
- If the weather conditions do not allow safe sailing (cancellation for bad weather conditions).
- If your boat has suffered damage or breakdown preventing any navigation.
To cancel a rental, go to your Click&Boat account, under "Bookings". Click on "Access" on the booking concerned, then "Cancel reservation" and select the reason for cancellation.
If you are forced to cancel due to damage, remember to update your calendar under "My Listings", "Edit", then "My Calendar".
Be aware that your cancellation rate impacts your visibility on the platform.
Please note that an owner who never cancels their rentals will have a better visibility than an owner who has made several cancellations.
For any cancellation without justification, considered as abusive, or whose reason would not correspond to a case of absolute necessity, your listing could be suspended.
