If you are a private owner: No!

In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Use, Click&Boat offers a deposit management tool to facilitate financial flows between users. When a tenant books a boat with a private owner, our platform pre-authorises the bank card used for payment, in order to be able to collect the deposit in the event of a claim. The owner agrees not to ask the tenant for a deposit, by any means whatsoever.


If you are a professional owner: Yes!

In accordance with our General Conditions of Use, the professional owner is entitled to ask the tenant for a security deposit in the form of a check or a pre-authorisation on the bank card for the amount indicated by the boat owner.

Therefore, no deposit will be taken by Click&Boat and it will be managed directly by the professional owner.
