Does the tenant have to be insured for the rental ?

The tenant does not have to insure your boat for rental.

The tenant must have third-party insurance to be able to sail, however, it is you, as the owner of the boat, who is obliged to insure your boat.

The tenant has the possibility to enjoy their rental even more peacefully by subscribing online to the Cancellation and/or Assistance and Repatriation insurance with our partner Mondial Assistance, which covers all participants in the rental. The option in question is recommended directly on the Click&Boat website when the reservation is confirmed.

Mondial Assistance's services and guarantees are detailed and available by clicking HERE.

It is also possible to purchase a damage waiver insurance policy with our partner Ouest Assurance, which protects you financially in the event of a claim on your boat.
